2 Best supercars of 2014
Feb 26th, 2015 by admin

Supercars are the stuff of dreams for many, with their striking designs and thunderous engines. That said, 2014 was a highly competitive year for super car manufacturers, and the following are two of the best cars released:

koenigsegg

Koenigsegg One:1

The Koenigsegg One:1 was released in 2014 coinciding with the car maker’s 20th birthday. Its strength lies in its speed and flat out, it can reach 273mph. The ‘One:1’ on its badge is in reference to its one horsepower for every kilogram ratio. Of course, all that power has to come from a pretty immense engine, but it is a decent 5.0-litre V8 assisted by two turbochargers. However, the horses generated are reality defying, standing at 1329bhp and developing some 1,011 torques. To keep everything sane in the corners, bits of aerodynamic assist components such as a rear wing and front flaps are available.

McLaren 650S

The McLaren 650S was built to jostle with top cars from Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini. While the MP4-12C was a great contender to the Ferrari 458 and slightly outgunning it in horsepower, which was 562hp, the 650S makes no frills about its intentions with 650 PS emblazoned on its badge, which is really 641 horsepowers. It comes with fantastic aerodynamic improvements, providing as much as 40 percent more downforce at speeds of 150mph, which greatly improves handling.

Looking Luxurious Outside and In
Feb 4th, 2015 by admin

Ever look at the car next to you at the lights with envy? The chances are that you have, and the chances are that the person you’re staring at hasn’t spent a lot of money to make their car look that luxurious. Some simple modifications on the outside and in can make your car look like it came straight from a Bond film set.

On The Outside

luxury carStart with a simple body wax to get the best out of the colours already on your car. Then price up some alloy wheels as these will make your car shine in all weathers. Final touches include chrome sideplates instead of the traditional black plastic, under car lighting to create some interesting light and shadow patterns when you’re parked and a personalised number plate to make sure that your car is completely unique.

On The Inside

Making your car luxurious on the inside is all about chrome, leather and walnut. Change the covers on your seats for leather, black if possible for the ultimate luxurious look and feel. Then get a chrome steering wheel, or just the spokes if you can’t remove the original. Finally, replacing your dashboard covers with walnut will complete the look and have everyone staring with envy at your luxurious ride.
